Synopsis In this romantic comedy, Priest Brian Finn (Norton) and Rabbi Jacob Schram (Stiller) are best friends who have known each other since childhood. When their old childhood friend Anna Reilly (Elfman) returns to New York, both men's lives are thrown a curveball - they both find themselves infatuated with the now stunningly beautiful and ambitious woman.

Besides sparking a rivalry between the two friends, they are also faced with a personal problem: Brian has taken a vow of celibacy, and Jacob is allowed to marry only within his faith.
