Synopsis

Based on the acclaimed novel by Susan Cooper, THE SEEKER is the first film adaptation of the author's The Dark Is Rising series of fantasy tales.

The film tells the story of Will Stanton (Ludwig), a young man who learns on his 14th birthday that he is the last of a group of warriors, known as the Light, who have dedicated their lives to fighting a growing evil force. Traveling back and forth through time, Will embarks on a quest to acquire six signs that will save the world and protect him in his inevitable showdown with The Rider (Eccleston), a villain with unimaginable powers.
