Star Movies Launches Ramadan Movie Bonanza
Month-Long Campaign Includes Back-to-Back Blockbusters & Daily Giveaways

On Fri, 21 Aug, STAR MOVIES launches the Ramadan Movie Bonanza. During the Ramadan Festival, the channel will air a blockbuster every night at 9.30pm (UAE) and offer daily giveaways.

The 9.30pm lineup between 21 Aug and 20 Sep features a mix of genres, promising a variety of Hollywood's best films. The Ramadan Movie Bonanza includes such family-friendly flicks as Jack (30 Aug), The Shaggy Dog (2 Sep), Ice Age (7 Sep), The Simpsons Movie (13 Sep), Wild Hogs (16 Sep) and Alvin and the Chipmunks (19 Sep).

Action fans are also well served during the month-long campaign with such mega-macho hits as Déjà Vu (22 Aug), Planet of the Apes (25 Aug), X-Men (1 Sep), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Sliver Surfer (5 Sep), Die Hard with a Vengeance (29 Aug) its sequel Die Hard 4.0 (10 Sep) and Ronin (15 Sep).

Film buffs can tune in to such Oscar-honored gems as Four Weddings and a Funeral (26 Aug), The French Connection (31 Aug), The Savages (4 Sep) and Dick Tracy (20 Sep).

Besides offering the best from Hollywood, the Ramadan Movie Bonanza also delivers daily giveaways. After each 9.30pm blockbuster has aired, viewers will be asked a simple multiple-choice question about the film. To be in the running, they can submit their answers via SMS MBON to 6070.
