The musical talent hunt reality show on Star Plus, Star Voice of India has zeroed in on its Top Eight last week. Mallar from Kolkata, Shraddha from Jharkhand, Rahul from Maharashtra, Vinti from Uttar Pradesh have been voted out of the top rung of Star Voice of India. It is anybody's guess who will bag the title now that the competition has run into its toughest phase. The lucky winner of Star Voice of India Mega Music League will be a name to reckon with in the music industry and all the runners-up return with a handsome reward and great memories.

This Freaky Friday, Disco fever grips the platform of Star Voice of India. The TOP 8 contestants were at their disco best. Vipul was the first to take the floor. He brought back memories of Rishi Kapoor and the revolving stage in Karz with his rocking performance. He sang Meri umar ke navjawano driving the women audiences crazy.

Ravi followed suit with yet another disco number Yaad Aaraha Hai, which had the judges again discussing his personal life and asking him about his girlfriend. Saptaparna and Ritisha walked away with kudos for their duet Jhoom Jhoom Jhoom baba. Their performance was unanimously appreciated by all the judges.

Ryan lit up the stage literally! Dressed in shimmering outfit, a la Mithun Da, he sang I am disco dancer like a true professional. Sayantani and Rohit recreated the disco fever from the 80s with their Koi yahan nache nache; Ismail Darbar had the last word on her performance. "These kids have raised the bar for Star Voice of India performers," he complimented them. And last but not the least, Zakir made his grand change of style with Big B’s Saara Zamaana.

There's much more to look forward to on Star Voice of India this week. It’s a Freaky Friday. Watch out for a shocking elimination as one of the most shining stars take a final bow from the Star Voice of India stage.
